Each one costs the community about 14,000 euros a year; with much less we could create dignified alternatives with the purpose to offer decent life and education to the young Africans in their own countries. We ask the African Governments to take responsibilities for their young people. Italy should reduce residence permit fees- 57 euros at present, plus 40 euros for passport renewal- and simplify procedures. Gemma Vecchio, President of the Association, will introduce the debate.
